Services
The Farmhouse Closet is a program of The United Way and aims to provide basic needs to Arizona’s foster children and the families who care for them. Our program started as a small idea in a home closet. As the needs of foster families became greater, and thanks to the support of our community, we have now grown and service over of 500 children per year.
The Farmhouse aims to help as many youth as we can by providing quality clothing, shoes, hygiene items, toys, books, and school supplies at no cost. Our program is designed to provide children and youth in foster care, kinship or adoption with a positive experience and the dignity they deserve. We serve children from newborns to 18 years of age.
All items are given to the children for free, reducing the financial burden on foster and kinship families. This is possible because of generous donations from individuals, church groups, service clubs, school groups, Scouts, businesses, and many others.
